Can't create series

I've been trying to create a series for my book, The Marian. Every time I go to edit the book details and click the link to create a series, I get sent back to the Goodreads home page. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some weird quirk going on here?

You need to be a librarian to create a Series. Let us know what the Series name is and we can do that for you.

The series is called The Marian, and this is the first book in the series.
