See I thought it was kind of strange to have her reappear in this book.

I have a feeling in the third book we are gonna see Wax’s sister as well as more Lessie, dead or alive!

What a twist! I knew there had to be a reason Lessie was in the prologue. But this?!

And now, another god? This book really upped the action and emotions of the last one so I kind of cant wait for Bands of Mourning!! (hide spoiler)]

I just finished. I didn't like this one as much as Alloy of Law. This one felt rough & rushed.

(view spoiler)[It could be the romantic in me but I'm totally unhappy with the fact that Wax is going to marry the wrong woman. I know all the reasons for it but he's setting himself up to be unhappy and that just sucks.

While I liked parts of the book & god infused parts, I thought it was a weird jump of events from the last book.

The end felt rushed and loosely cobbled together. It's a good thing there's another book because I would have been grumpy if that was the end. (hide spoiler)]

I'm 11 chapter in now. (view spoiler)[ I'm seriously loving all these references to Sazed, Vin, Marsh, Elend, Spook and Kel. Sazed is actually speaking to wax and the kandra are back in play! It's really starting to feel like the Mistborn world again. I want to know what this Kandra's deal is and why sh's killing people. (hide spoiler)]

Yes! It really did get more of that Mistborn-vibe. And he could lonly talk to Sazed bc of the Pathian earring. Who knows whether other Pathians could speak to Sazed or other “gods”.

Im glad Sanderson is making a 4th. Do we know tht it will be another full trilogy? And will they be the “true” 2nd era books, since these were considered prequels?

I'm seriously loving the Kandra involvement in this book. I had no idea this was where it was going when it started but it's working so well. Wax is going to visit the Kandra homeland, exciting! (hide spoiler)]
