Aedion is extremely angry when he learns that Rowan has given Aelin the blood oath. Were is anger and disappointment warranted?

They were, but he needed to understand the situation Aelin was in at the time. Also, I'm not even sure if she knew the true meaning behind what she did.
While I understood his disappointment, his reaction was a bit excessive (although he did get over it quickly and realized his priorities hadn't changed). His expectations weren't all that realistic given the time that had passed and the fact that Aelin wasn't as familiar with Terrasen's traditions.
He did seem to get over it quickly, which is surprising knowing his character. Lauren, you worded it better than me; "Aelin was not familiar with the Terrasen's traditions" is exactly what I mean't to say.
