My website at http://jonathanterrington.com, is a little different to this if you're looking for a traditional website.
This is not our website hosting platform - we're using 'Discord' which is a server-hosting platform that is more secure than just going to any website (hence the need to check for the checkbox for the terms and conditions and the username sign up).
Discord host many chat-related servers, it's effectively a chatting and writing application. And the website manager has done plenty of study of interface design I am sure (since they're proper professional coders). It's just designed to be a different type of writing space.
Our aim is for this server to be a discussion space where fantasy writers gather and help each other out with snippets and feedback for active writers.
This group is for anyone wanting to become a sci-fi fantasy author. It's to build a community of those who would like to find fellow aspiring authors and to discuss a variety of other interests and ideas at the same time!
