I read picture perfect at the same time it may be a similar author???

It flips between present time and WW2. A woman’s husband is an artist and died in a car accident when someone tries to steal a painting. His wife continues his work and finds out someone was painted over in the painting. The woman in the painting had a boyfriend called Ralph who was painted over by the seller. He returns as an angry ghost. Her co workers are gay and married.

A different book: The main character is possibly called Ryan or Ross or has the surname Ryan or Ross. He is some kind of paranormal investigator. He may be suicidal. He helps communicate with a ghost that is someones sister. People are trying to build on native Indian ground but think it’s haunted so Ryan (??) is asked to help. Someone is hit by lightning, possibly twice. Ryan may be a police officer or detective or something.

It may not be the same book but they try to solve a murder of a woman who was hung. Turns out to be Audi code. She stepped on an ice block but the ice melted. A baby was put in a coffin but replaced with a chicken or something so survived. Possibly name: Ruby. They question a woman in a hospital.

Another book is a young Jewish girl and an old SS soldier. He wants her to kill him and tells her stories to prove it. He says he shot her grandmas friend for stealing which is how they find out he’s real. I think his name was Josef. He let his brother choke to death and didn’t help. Turns out he was imitating his brother to try to redeem him or something. Maybe get him forgiven. He did watch his brother die though. The Jewish girl is a baker and bakes a poisonous plant into his bread because he asked. She also called a hotline to catch nazi soldiers and they were really excited she found a legitimate one.
