How's everyone else doing on them?

How's everyone else doing on them?"
I have one more book left in order to complete the challenge- I’m sure I’ll finish it by the end of the month. :)

Ugh that’s awful. I hope you feel better soon

oh no, Jazzy, how miserable, I'm so sorry to hear that the illness is still plaguing you :(

That's great Essie! You'll get that last one!

How's everyone else doing on them?"
Sadly I pretty much had all my October reading planned when these challenges were announced, so I haven't had chance to fit them in! Never mind!

I can't seem to find any books that take place in the future. Can anyone recommend something? I feel slightly bad for ignoring my Divination NEWTs, but if I want to try things in the order, I need to read a book that takes place in future first!

I wish there was another extra credit push too! I just checked Book Roast's youtube page, and sadly, no extra credit challenge for November :(

I think generally a retelling is where a folklore/tale or a novel is 're-told' in a different way, not sure if that helps, I think there's plenty of room for interpretation, so if you feel the book will put it's own spin on the folklore aspect, then that would work!

Either would work :) A book that's set in the future from today, or a book that an author wrote historically, but about a future time.
Here's a Goodreads list of popular future-fiction novels if that helps:

Neat! I was just wondering, because I started reading A Scanner Darkly which was written in 1977 and takes place in 1994 - so our past and the author's future :D

That's great! I'm super envious! I'm having so much trouble finding books that I want to read for my N.E.W.T.s these days...

Ah, I never thought I'd say this, but I'll leave this one for the kiddies. I've got many, many classics to read! Have fun you lot xx

I've made a decision to not complete POTIONS. I've moved onto my NEWTs so will make a post shortly about which books I've already read for these! I actually have followed in your footsteps Anne and 'cheated' by not reading the A,E and O in order... but what the hell! I'm still reading the books. I might do the potions NEWT because again, what the hell, so I'll make one post which I can update through to December 1st (or it could get very confusing!) as I'm planning to complete every subject, not just 5!
