"Rough Stock" is a true crime book covering the 2011 theft of championship rodeo horses from Southern Arkansas University. The book is well-researched and accurately retells the story complete with references to court transcripts, official photographs, and even a transcript of a secretly made recording of the main Defendant. This book is not for young people and reaches into the darkness of Animal Cruelty cases. Importantly, these cases must be prosecuted and Rough Stock reveals how social media pushed the case through the criminal justice system. Most true crime books cover murders and serial killers; anyone who reads those books knows that Animal Cruelty is often the first steps the future killer takes. Here is a landmark case where, finally, animal cruelty is punished as it should be. http://www.amazon.com/Rough-Stock-Sou...
