Eclectic Heathrow character thriller

I'm looking for a book that I read 15 years ago, I think it would have been published in 2000/01. It is a English set book based around Heathrow Airport. Each chapter was a different story about a different character. There was an air stewardess and a stowaway, as well as a chap who wanted to kill himself under a train. It was a thriller in the way that the characters culminate in a collective ending. It was reminiscent of Geoff Ryman's 253. If anyone could help I would be grateful.
