SOLVED. A book about the gods but in fictional/ YA form [s]

I remember the cover was yellow and the the main girl character was on it in a green dress I think. I don't remember much about the book just the ending. I found this at my library and can't find it again.

(view spoiler)[Towards the end of the book she ends up with her guy friend and she's cutting his hair, he makes a statement saying he's ugly and she calls herself ugly. She lays her head on his shoulder while they both look into the mirror and says something like "What an ugly pair" or "What an ugly couple". (hide spoiler)]
