I hate when people hand me their business card in lieu of saying their name/phone number/address/etc.

Especially when they don't own a business or anything that would warrant having a business card. It just feels a little pretentious and unnecessary.
The exception is when I find business cards inside dirty books that say "If you need to talk, call xxx-xxx-xxxx". I love those.

No lie, i was once given a business card for a person's dog. He invited me to his doggie's party using it. Therefore, i hate that there are people who make business cards for their pets. Doggie birthday parties are another matter.
