Khushbu Mathur | 18 comments All your life you are told you are unique, no one on planet is just like you!!!
Well this does not seem true in case of the narrator of Dark Matter - Jason , who is trapped in the multiverse by another version of himself and this book is about this journey back home

An enthralling book which keeps you on the edge and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Little disappointed by how it ends and hence the 4 star rating.

Pallavi (bookfetisher) I finished it yesterday and totally loved it.

Exactly my thoughts after i was done reading. Infact i was Numb and without books for a few days simply because i couldn't find a book as good as DM. All thanks to fellow readers who recommended books to get out of that hangover.

Yeah! Its not a typical horror story. More like a creepy mystery. But yeah could be kind of scary:P Have you read Fredrik Backman's books? A Man Called Ove is amazing.

message 117: by Nitesh (new) - rated it 4 stars

Nitesh | 15 comments This Book is a Roller Coaster, Left me thinking about the infinite possibilities that might happen if this had occurred in real and it also scares me to imagine one in a situation similar to the lead character.
But all in all an awesome novel for people who love Time Travel and Science Fiction.

This Novel left me wanting for more so i started ..

1) The Fold by Peter Clines (Completed this one..)
2) The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch (On Going)..

Check those out and leme know how it was...

Nitesh.

Bihag Dave | 19 comments *Spoilers*

Finished the book a few days ago. The premise is simple and very well executed. The book incorporates Sci-Fi elements but isn't truly Sci-Fi. It is more of a thriller, although people who are into Quantum Mechanics and Many Worlds Interpretation will enjoy the 'visuals'. But that's about it. The Sci-Fi nature starts and ends with the 'cube'. The story focuses more on the character and I think that is where the book shines. I would have loved if the author had adopted an unreliable narrator and told a few chapters from the point of one of the 'effed up' Jasons who turned bad.

Anyway, had a good time reading it and was definitely a page turner. I am so glad I joined this group. I would have never read this otherwise.

Thank you, friends. We had a great discussion in August.
Hope Anansi Boys follows suit. :)

message 122: by Vineet (new) - rated it 4 stars

Vineet (sarcasticanesthesiologistreads) | 14 comments I guess I was one of the 'suggestors' of the book a couple of months back. Had read it as it was given the Goodreads award or it was perhaps the second best. Anyways I'd really enjoyed how the author had used n woven the multiverse concept vis a vis an individual. I've read the wayward pines Trilogy too which brought Crouch to limelight, this in my opinions was better, or rather more to my liking.
