Who is your Favorite character in the archive and why?

My favorite character in the archive is the little girl in words of radiance who uses the awesomeness to slide on the floor to escape from the bad guy and whose spren is a plant/rock thing that creates vines that the girl can climb on but that no one else can see. I like her because of her youthfulness and spry attitude towards life. I hope that she picks up a larger role in the following books. Her ability to gain storm light from eating food is super cool, she's just all around awesome to me.

I can see why you would like her. And you just reminded me that she gains storm light by eating. That is amazing. That could open up a whole other can of worms on how storm light works.

Not sure who my favorite character is, I will think and get back. I love certain things about some but I need an overall favorite.

I have to say that my favorite character is between Kaladin and Dalinar. I know I may be lame for picking such main characters, but Kal has always stood out to me as being the noble hero every book needs, and I personally feel like the Sanderson did an amazing job with Dalinars character development, especially throughout the second book.

(Spoilers... if you have not read the second book do not read this post.) I have a second favorite character. I am a softy for the female characters, they are in a world where they need to be bold to survive. Spren don't choose humans based upon gender so danger increases for these female characters like shallan. Rysn is another character who I love, she is in training to be a trade master and on her journey she climbs off a cliff to speak to an Island God. In her boldness she falls to the depths of the sea only to be saved by the spren of the island. The trade goes successfully as they receive the dead body of an ancient being. This body is sought after by kings by the way. Rysn also receives one that is living. Could this be a Spren? The dead body being a shard blade.
