Murder, She Wrote Series by Jessica Fletcher and Donald Bain. I know my library doesn't have all the books, but it would be fun to read as many as I can. I think everyone knows Jessica Fletcher.
I've read a couple of Isis Crawford's A Mystery with Recipes Series and they were fun. This series is about two sisters who run a bakery and catering service and of course, stumble over murders.
I was looking through the cozy lists and came across Mrs Pollifax Series by Dorothy Gilman. I've not ready any of her books but they all are rated 3.90 or higher with some 4.5 stars. This series is about a widowed woman with grown children who goes to work for the CIA.

Would M C Beaton's Hamish Macbeth series count as a cozy? They are about a Scottish Highlands village policeman.

Gem, your suggestions have been added to the list.
Understanding that not all cozies at all libraries (there would be nothing but cozies, lol) I think it should be kept simple. Let's vote on a series, the winning series is read. Since we are already reading two cozies a month, I think one from the series each month would be a good pace.
You could norrow down the list to five or six and create a poll. Or since you've given each nomination a number you could also use a random number generator.

One of our members, Chris, nominated Rhys Bowen in our Focus on the Author suggestion discussion for her Her Royal Spyness and Molly Murphy series. Since they are cozies I'd like to add them to the list.
I highly recommend the Sneaky Pie and Sister cozies by Rita Mae Brown. Both are centered around rural Virginia and the second series are set in the world of foxhunting.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I have followed this series for a long time and I do love the way the animals are actually solving the cases and leading their human to the correct answers. They are easy to read and the characters are all wonderful. It gives one a look into the horse world and how jumping and foxhunting are in a world unto themselves.
