I'm still working on reading The Piano Tuner (fewer than 100 pages to go). I'm very, very impressed with the amount of detail just concerning the piano. I found out yesterday the author is going to be at an event I'm attending in October. I'm excited to talk to him.

I’m currently listening to the audiobook Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton. This book was our book club pick. I’m also reading The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead.
Just finished the remarkable CIRCE by Madeline Miller. I listened to the book narrated by Perdita Weeks who did a great job. This could be the best novel i have ever listened to. Full of adventure and a good deal of expertise even for people living today. I literally found myself with chills listening to the last few minutes. Miller (of course no relation) has something that a number of writers lack, an ability to end a book with an ending. Very satisfying end to an entertaining masterpiece.
