Could you please clarify if this collection of fairytale retellings have characters in common between the books or is it just connected by common theme?

They had cameos of characters throughout them and there are so many traditionally published series that follow the same set up, even ones that are just the same theme.
They all exist in the same universe. They all go to the same high school.
So the characters form one book do appear as a side characters in others? Or there are common side characters (like teachers?)
Yes. All the MCs of each book appear as fellow classmates in each other’s books, of that makes sense

And can https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... (currently listed as Book 3) be changed to Book 5?
And lastly, can https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... (currently listed as Book 4) be changed to Book 6?
