A few months I began a new blog as an experiment to help build interest in book I am still in the process of writing, titled "THE VAMPYRE BLOGS".

The online blog itself is called "THE VAMPYRE BLOGS - PRIVATE EDITION". I created this blog for 2 reasons. One, to get the word out about the coming book of course, but to also give my readers more information about the characters and who they are, where do they come from, what life experiences have they had... etc.

I did this because there have been so many novels I've read where I always wanted to know more about the characters, but there's only so much you can cram into one novel. So the ongoing blog itself seemed the perfect opportunity to give more background and insights into the various characters. The entries found in the blog will NOT be repeated in the actual novel. This is simply bonus material for the readers to enjoy before/after they get to read the novel.

So here's the link to the first entry on "THE VAMPYRE BLOGS - PRIVATE EDITION" where you all get to meet my vampyre Nathaniel, who is 167 years old and the only walking veteran from the Civil War. I hope you enjoy meeting him. I'll be posting links to more entries as things progress.

"The Vampyre Blogs" novel is coming along nicely. Up to 66,000 words and closing in on the big confrontation scene. Then I can work on wrapping up the 1st draft and begin reworking it into a 2nd draft.

My apologies for getting sloppy over here. School got in the way and I haven't been posting any links to "The Vampyre Blogs - Private Edition" in some time. There's been a bunch of new posts that I'll try and get caught up here.

However I'll start with the most recent one and slowly work my way back to get everyone caught up. LUckily a lot of the entries are not in a specific sequence. They're mostly glimpses into some of the characters past experiences, especially Nathaniel (my vampyre). So without further ado here is the most recent post. There will be more soon, I promise.

Yay, another post and another entry. At least I'm getting this one out before the end of the month.

Today you get to learn a little more about Nathan's past and how he spends some of his nights when visiting the town where he grew up. Tonight he pays a visit to his family only to find unexpected and unwelcome visitors.
