This has been alleged for some time. The news here is the UK authority charged with looking into this has stated these concerns can be managed. Another opinion is that the NSA is probably going to do it anyway, and the Chinese equipment might just be easier to manage because everyone is suspicious of the Chinese, while they ignore everyone else. The obvious thing is not to commit security-related messages to the mobile network.
Yeah, it's pretty hilarious how the Chinese and Russians have suddenly become so much more untrustworthy or darker than the likes of the CIA, NSA, MOSSAD or MI5/6! I must've missed the part where the Western intelligence agencies changed their ways and become saintly...Granted we in the West need to keep an eye on foreign enemies, especially in regard to foreign inventions in the tech sector. However, the jury is still out on whether the biggest enemies for peace are foreign or internal...The track record since WW2 hasn't been too good on the latter.

Plans for a pilot project to provide high-speed 5G wireless internet in Brussels have been halted due to fears for the health of citizens, according to reports.
"I cannot welcome such technology if the radiation standards, which must protect the citizen, are not respected, 5G or not," Environment minister Céline Fremault (CDH) told Bruzz. "The people of Brussels are not guinea pigs whose health I can sell at a profit. We cannot leave anything to doubt," she added.

You heard about 5G concerns right here in the Underground first!
But...you also heard about Santos and the Hollow Earth here too (no system is perfect)
Yes, I thought of the same thing: it could be using health fears as an excuse to make some sort of political or economic move...Especially as Asian manufacturers seem to have gotten the jump on 5G tech, especially the Chinese but also South Koreans. So I guess this could be a way to delay things until the West catches up. And the highly-influential Brussels making the first move could be a signal to the EU and rest of the West.
But I'm sticking with this being another conspiracy gone mainstream :)

I thought so... 5G may be rushed on the market (with the intel agencies secretly pushing for it) so that our security is not ready to deal with it and therefore our privacy drops to almost zero?

Iain, what's your thoughts on a cyber 9/11 attack (or a cyber 9/11 false flag attack) coming during this 5G phase where security isn't ready? And if it was a false flag cyber 9/11, how would the powers that be benefit from that? for example, would they be able to set new regulations where we basically give away any last remaining privacy we have in the name of "national security"? Or would there be other benefits?

The MMW frequencies of 5G cause mitochondrial DNA damage – which is then passed down generations. 5G is mutagenic. These mutations are inherited by the next generation! This has grave implications for genetic purity. How many people are thinking about this when they can’t stop looking at their screens? This website lists many studies showing the mitochondrial damage that occurs after exposure to EMF radiation."

Wow.
6G technology market revealed by Mind Commerce https://www.vanillaplus.com/2019/06/2...About ten years ago, the phrase “Beyond 4G” (B4G) was coined to refer to the need to move beyond what was currently envisioned as part of the evolution for 4G via the Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard.
Since it was not clear what 5G might entail, and only prestandards R&D level prototypes were in the works at the time, the term B4G lasted for a while, referring to what could be possible and potentially useful beyond 4G. Somewhat ironically, the LTE standard is still evolving itself, and some aspects will be used in 5G. In the same vein as B4G, Mind Commerce sees Beyond 5G (B5G) as a pathway to 6G technologies that will render fifth generation capabilities and 5G applications pale in comparison.

In this case, with all the emerging data showing a clear pattern of health problems associated with 5G, I just have to wonder why the Kleptocorruptogarchy is still pushing it, beyond the "internet of things" and their bottomless lust for the power that comes with astronomical wealth. C.J.M. spotted this article and passed it along, and I suspect it may contain a partial answer:
Air Force Set To Deploy Its Counter-Drone "Phaser" Microwave Weapon Overseas https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone...
Now, in the past I have blogged about my suspicions about 5G, including the ideas that it could be used for (1) weather manipulation, and (2) mind manipulation. I have even speculated that with a forest of towers sprouting up, one might actually be looking at (3) the covert construction of a massive phased array antenna system on a continental scale for "other purposes" encompassing everything from ionospheric heating to other "national security" purposes (including the first two). Indeed, I suspect that eventually the Kleptocorruptogarchy will try to "sell" the whole project by invoking "security."

The Hidden Military Use of 5G Technology https://www.globalresearch.ca/hidden-...At the London Summit, the 29 member countries of NATO agreed to “guarantee the security of our communications, including 5G”. Why is this fifth generation of mobile data transmission so important for NATO?
While the earlier technologies were perfected to create ever more advanced smartphones, 5G is designed not only to improve their performance, but mainly to link digital systems which need enormous quantities of data in order to work automatically. The most important 5G applications will not be intended for civil use, but for the military domain.
The possibilities offered by this new technology are explained by the Defense Applications of 5G Network Technology, published by the Defense Science Board, a federal committee which provides scientific advice for the Pentagon –
“The emergence of 5G technology, now commercially available, offers the Department of Defense the opportunity to take advantage, at minimal cost, of the benefits of this system for its own operational requirements”.

It also requires improvements in tech to the base stations(upgrades to 4G, etc) and more of them, which = $$$.
At present 5G is more suited for dense urban environments than rural ones. Given its restricted range and ability, susceptibility to weather etc, it's ability to be deployed for military use(at least in the foreseeable future) is questionable.
The main security concerns / issues that come from 5G are due to the enlargement of the 'attack surface' that comes as a consequence of the ability to increase the number of devices and IP enabled objects attached.

Interesting.
Correlation doesn't necessarily imply causation, but entertain all possibilities and never rule anything out.

Lynn, I would watch how Brig. Gen. Robert S. Spalding is framing the answer.
Yes, 5g will decrease latency and 'broaden the pipe' to a far greater degree than before and allow for far better real-time interaction; so automation, voice activated apps / devices, VR / AR, Big Data, Smart Cities and so on will take advantage, even changing the way we interact with our phones(or possibly removing the need), but it will still be the endpoint / client device , etc, or software doing the legwork. 5G will allow for far greater tech ubiquity in that context, but it only facilitates it.
As a side note, I don't think 5G will ever penetrate the human skull as efficiently as Patrick Bet-David's scrutinizing gaze.
lol

No problem.
Just to let you know, I am on the fence with 5G.
I take on-board the info and opinion and don't dismiss there could be long-term health implications as much as there could also be alarmist disinfo.

That's not strictly true, James.
We're not just any ol 5G company, we're an innovative and dynamic startup that wants to promote not only the dangers of wireless technology, but seek to revolutionize and help individuals via actively promoting the detrimental health benefits of WIFI
It's our belief that everyone should have a chance to be exposed to dangerous levels of X-Ray exposure
