Alternate History, Dystopian, JFK, Russia take over of US, Cuban Missile Crisis

I want to know if this is a book or an old conspiracy theory. I heard about it in the early 1980's and it has stuck with me. Now it seems too true. The plot:

During the Cuban Missile Crisis President Kennedy surrendered the US to Russia. Kennedy then organized a revolt but was assassinated before he could warn the people. Instead of invading, Russia decided it would break our society from within and take over the country in the future as our "saviors."
