I read this book when I was younger so it’s more likely a kids book for ages 8-12. The main protagonist is a boy and he is at boarding school when he discovers a secret about it. I remember a scene about fencing, but that could be wrong. I also remeber there being a second book and there were knights involved in the secrets of the school.
