Great review, Susan. I'm not always a great one for books based on real crimes, but I do like Jill Dawson - I admired her novel Fred and Edie, about the Edith Thompson case, which also inspired The Documents in the Case by Dorothy L. Sayers I think I also read a novel by Dawson about Rupert Brooke.
