Sea of Rust - maybe 3***

Sea of Rust is original, I'll give it that. There's lots to enjoy about it, for example the fact that it's told from the robots' perspectives because there are no more humans. But the writing style is difficult to enjoy, especially because I can't tell if it's deliberately 'robotic' or if Cargill just isn't a great writer. For example, there's a *lot* of exposition.

I've not written a GR review yet because we're in the middle of a group discussion and the others are helping me sort out our reactions....

That sounds like such a fascinating premise. I read some of the reviews and it sounds like it doesn't quite live up to itself, which is too bad.
