Hi guys!

So last week, Matthew invited me into the discussion, so here I am (Thank you, Mathew!).

I am so far on page 185 Part 3 (Investigation Phase- November 19-21).

Sadly after I parted the 3rd perspective and entered to the 1st one, it's getting somewhat annoying and tasteless.

I LOVED the parts behind part 3, and flew through them, but I'm not feeling it, you know?

Anyone is having the same issue?

Yes!! It took me awhile to get through this part Medhat and I'm only at page 204. I'm at Nov 24-26.
The 1st part of this book flew for me but I'm having some issues staying focused on the Investigation Phase.

Exactly! I mean, if the started that way, I think it would have been better in terms of reading-enjoyment. But just out of nowhere ... that's a bit annoying.

Trust me, after the incompetent investigation part, you get to see what Bugliosi has to say about motive and get a better look inside the killers' minds.

I can see how he thought Revolution 9 and Piggies might seem like a call for action, (the fork and knife correlation is chilling) but it's very creepy how the lyrics to Sexy Sadie seem accidentally directed to Susan "Sadie Mae Glutz" Atkins.

Never going to listen to The White Album the same again.

I guess Cliffs notes is what you could call it, lol. I just took quotes and people's description of him in phrases and words that would sum up the subject of the book and quoted lyrics around the borders as well. That's how good this book is.

The audio was good - Scott Brick narration and I love Scott Brick as a narrator. I think I might have struggled slogging through this if I had read instead of listened!

Holy smokes, that was a crazy book. The whole trial is just a shit show especially with the attorney, Kanarek. WTF? He was a mess and a total obstructionist. I can't believe some of the things he did during that trial.

I'm glad I finished. Thanks for the great buddy read Matthew and Ev! It was fun to read this sideshow of a circus book with you both!

I was laughing at Kanarek half the time. You're right, it was a circus, but a well-written out one. I loved doing the buddy read with you guys.

He totally did! That guy was a total idiot and incompetent. Wow, I couldn't believe it.
I'll take a look in the next few months of upcoming BRs and Group Reads on here. This month is a no go for me. I had a great time on this one! :D
