Who else here is a fan of Lizzie Bennet (a modern-day adaptation of P&P, it's on YouTube)?

I'm on episode 40 something and I really love it.

I'm now at the 6 episode and really convinced I'm going to stop looking after this one. As I was at the 5th, and the 4th, 3th.

I love The Lizzie Bennet Diaries! I also love their second series, Emma Approved. They are still releasing videos (only up to 60-something) and they are just as good as The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. They are based off of Emma by Jane Austen.

The LBD is SUCH a good adaptation! I love it. The actors are great and it's so interesting to see how they interpret the events from P&P into modern day.

The Lizze Bennet Diaries is fantastic! The casting for that was just perfect! I also loved the interactive nature of the whole thing during the year they were making the videos - things like the Twitter and Facebook posting they had the characters doing. The videos are still up on YouTube for free, but they also packaged the whole series on DVDs that include a boatload of extra content. I supported their Kickstarter campaign for that, so I have the DVDs already. You can order the DVDs on the DFTBA site, I think.

Now they have the book too, and it's fun to read her diary in parrallel with the vlog she does.

I finished all 100 episodes in one day and now im addicted to their new series emma approved, I never miss an episode.

The LIzzie Bennet diaries made me fall in love with Pride and prejudice all over again. I love the adaption i love the characters the actors are FANTASTIC!!!!. I finished all the episodes in about a day and a half( i had to sleep or else it would have been sooner) and got the Diary companion novel and loved the things it added to the series you didnt really get from the videos. I recommend it to pretty much everyone i talk to i love it.

I watched a couple episodes of TLBD, and it was great! But I absolutely LOVE their other series Emma Approved! You will not regret watching it. It is PERFECT!

I'm planning to watch Emma Approved as soon as I read the book. It's the only one of the Austens (except Lady Susan and some short stories) I haven't read yet, but I'm planning to do that in a few days. If EA is anything as TLBD it'll be surely worth watching.
