Get Your Meetup Added as an Event (updated)

When your local group agrees upon a place and time for a meetup, you can add it as an S&L event, so people can RSVP and be sent a reminder, etc. Or you can message me the details and I'll add the event for you!

(Initially I thought only mods could make events, but you all have the POWAH. But I'm happy to add them for you, too.)

(update) ALSO, whenever you've settled on a upcoming time-place in your thread, let me know, and I'll sticky the thread.

Hello Josh, our Orange county group has set up their first meet. I notice there is a way to add an event on your own or is it best for you (Josh ) to do it? The particulars are on the tread for local meetups-Orange county.

Okay I will because I can. I will tell you how it goes.

I really screwed that one up. But I fixed it & all is good. The problem was I keep getting a alert to a problem, which I would fix or alter, but it would post it anyway. By the time I was done it was posted 8 times and I crowded out all the other events. My bad. So I deleted everything but the original and all is good

I've edited my initial post to let people know they can add events themselves (but I'm still glad to add them as well).
