romance series in college about street racer in second book + first book is bad boy

I remember reading two books in this series. However, I remember the second book far more.
In the second book, it's a spin-off of a character in the first. A girl who crashes her car into the driver who is competing in a street race but she doesn't know it's him. They make a bet about the guy losing after she slags him off not knowing it's him. She loses because he wins the race.
In the first book, I think it was a classic bad boy who sits next to a girl in class and things unfold.
