Ember"Yes..." I said softly. "But they won't be like the ones from your child hood...not here there are rules they must follow." I told.him softly I stroked his cheek. "You are safe here." I told him softly.
JohnI looked back at Em when she cups my face and just tries her best to soothe my worries. Sure I was a little tense about it but looking into her colored eyes... I just felt like I could trust her. I held her hand in mine and nodded my head.
“Okay.” I whispered to her. Giving her a light smile.

“Yeah yeah I know that it is pretty common.” I tell him when I take out johns notebook from my pocket and just smiled. “And no one will know of my sisters rare allergy that’s for sure.” I said relieved when he stripped me off and looked at my wound. Sure the iron wasn’t there. But there was still fresh scar tissue that looked like a star shape on my chest. Size of my palm actually
Charlie"You are a genius love." I said grinning at her kissing her softly before gently pressing the cool rag to her chest to help bring the swelling down.

I nodded letting him go I moved to his side taking his hand. "Come on I have some burn cream that will help with the inflammation." I said softly his wounds still an angry red color. I rubbed at my own stomach the phantom pain still there.
RueI smiled when he called me a genius and leaned in to give me a kiss. I delightfully kissed him back until he brought a cool towel and tried to apply it to my angry flesh. “Meh! I didn’t think the next time I’d be topless you would be touching me with care.” I teased him playfully
John
I let her take my hand when she just guides me inside wanting to still apply some first aid on my wound. I followed obediently when I see her rubbing at her stomach. “Em what’s wrong? Are you in pain as well? Did you get hurt?” I asked her. Stopping in the middle of the kitchen
Ember"I'm not hurt." I insisted. "I just....I felt it when you got shot John." I told him softly. "I felt it when you coughed up blood. I felt it when you started to fade almost beyond my reach." I told him my voice cracking slightly. "And I can feel the burn now that's all." I said clearing my voice for a moment. Not meeting his eye because I would get all weepy which was rediculous because he was fine now.

"Well the next time I had you along in bed I didn't think I would be playing doctor." I teased her smiling softly. "So....your bad about being on bed rest? I teased.
RueI rolled my eyes a little bit at him when he teased me about the next time that we were in bed. He’d be a doctor. I winced a little at the touch when I shake my head. “Not the greatest bedrester correct.” I tell him

I noticed that she wasn’t doing so great and I felt kind of bad that she went through that. I went to her side and just wrapped my arms around her. I kissed the top of her head before I just held her to me. “I’m so sorry that you went through that love.”
CharlieI hummed softly. "Well I'll try to keep you entertained for at least today." I teased softly.

I hugged him back and rested my head on his chest. "It's okay...I just...I almost lost to very important people today I'm just a little shaky." I said softly.
RueI looked at him and smiled when I reached out and just cupped his face a little. “I really do love you... but there’s no need for you to worry about entertaining me.” I whispered to him.

I looked at her scared face and I let out a sigh. I really did felt bad that I startled her in that way. I kissed her lips and had her look at my eyes. “I am sorry that you went through a few minutes of hell.” I whispered
CharlieI smiled softly kissing her hand gently. "I love you too Rue." J said softly. "I'm not worried about entertaining you I look forward to entertaining you." I teased.

I kissed him back softly. Stroking his cheek gently. "It's not your fault." I told him softly. They would pay for hurting my mate and my sister...
RueI smiled a little when I tried to get up on my feet a little. Even if it did hurt to breathe every once in a while. “Well in that case how on earth are you going to entertain me?” I asked him. Managing to get on my feet when I looked back at him. “Come on let’s look around.”
CharlieI picked her up. "Rue...your sister will have my balls on a key chain if you go walking around." I chuckled softly.
RueI scrunch my nose a little bit when he tells me that my sister would have his balls. I really doubt she’d be that drastic but then again she is my sister. I let out a sigh and just let myself be carried back to the bed. “Fine.”
CharlieI smirked and tucked her in gently before digging around in my go bag and bringing out some wool and knitting needles. I put them in her lap. "Entertainment." I said sitting in a wing backed chair taking out my own set.
RueI looked at him with an arched eyebrow and literally seeing him sit down on a chair and just loving the world right now. “Really? Knitting is your form of entertainment.” I said in disbelief
Charlie"Lots of soldiers knit when not on patrol it's soothing keeps you sane and your hands busy." I told her smirking. "So yes....knitting is my form of entertainment." I teased her.
RueI just shake my head and placed the instruments down before I give him a look. “I do love you but my form of entertainment is to talk. Know more about you and vice verse.” I tell him and just kind of cooled down on the breathing a bit.
CharlieI chuckled softly and rested my needles in my lap. "Ask away." I told her giving her my full attention now. I smiled softly at her.
RueI guess that’s his way in showing me that he wanted to just pamper me. I thought about it for a little and just took his hand in mine. “Does it bother you... that I’ve lived a long life and I might have the possibility of having a past?” I asked him
CharlieI shook my head. "No. Elves are immortal I would be more surprised if you didn't have a past." I told her softly. I brushed my thumb soothingly over the back of her hand. "Rue I didn't expect you to stay celebet until you met me. I'm sure you have had lovers in the past. As long as none try coming to claim you again...that's fine by me." I said smirking.
RueI blush a little when he started just rubbing at my hand and my heart just starts fluttering. My eyes are slightly tearing up when I brought his hand to my lips and I kissed them softly. “The more I’m with you. The more I forget every single one of them.” I whispered to him blushing a little.
Charlie"No one ever could compare to you my little sprite." I told her softly. I kissed her forehead gently. "I love you." U told her softly.
RueI am still blushing for his sweet nature. For him to had seen me just get shot or almost lose me. I cupped his face and kissed his lips softly before I ran my fingers through his hair. “Thank you for remaining reasonable back there.” I whispered to him.
CharlieI smiled faintly. "I learned a ling 5ime ago when disaster happens emotions have to go out the window so logic can take over. If it doesn't people die." I said softly stroking her hair gently. "Do you need some pain killers or anything?" I asked softly.
RueI smiled at him looking at his eyes when I just touch him a little more. “I can’t be logical my emotions would’ve taken the best of me and I’d... let’s just say it wouldn’t had been good for those guards and scientists of that building.” I whispered to him and smiled when he asked me about painkillers.
“Okay there’s some hydrocodine in the bathroom cabinet. That should do the trick.” I tell him
Charlie"Hmm I think Ember wanted to burn the building down." I said as I got up to get her painkillers and a glass of water for her. I came back and handed them over helping her to sit up carefully so she could take her pain killers.
JohnI walked with her back inside and just kind of stayed by her side. She didn’t seem okay I mean with what she went through there’s still this lingering pain inside of her. I just wish I can soothe the pain away somehow.
EmberI looked up at him. "You alright honey?" I asked him softly finding the burn ointment. I gently applied the ointment to his stomach.
JohnI winced a little in pain when she tries to go ahead and place the burn ointment. It sucked but I just felt like I got yanked out of my own reality. But I was more worried about my love. “I am just worried about you, I mean you seem really shaken up is all.”
Ember"Just a bit of shock. I'll be alright." I promised him smiling softly at him. "Sorry I know it stings.' I told him. "But it will reduce the swellinf and makes sure you don't get an infection." I said smiling softly.
JohnI looked at her and smiled when she said that I just needed to reduce swelling and what not. I touched her face and just held her to me. Not caring that it hurt. “I wish there was a way to help soothe the shock away.”
Ember"Just knowing your here is enough." I told him smiling softly. I cupped his cheeks gently. I kissed him softly. "I love you John." I told him softly. I smiled at him softly.
JohnI looked at her lovely eyes and just smiled a little bit. I cupped her face in my hands and kissed her again. My arms wrapped around her waist as I deepened the kiss to her. Just really getting a taste of her some more.

Charlie"I'm an old soul...." I said softly looking at her from the corner of my eye. "Do you know what that means?" I asked softly.
RueI shrug my shoulders a little bit when he asks me if i know the term. "I am not exactly sure what it means but if you can can you just clear it up for me a bit."
Charlie"An old soul is someone who has been reincarnated multipul times. Over and over again. I have always been a guardian, a protector..." I said stroking her hand gently.
I looked back at her when she mentions that this place is sanctuary that no human can cross the barrier without being affected. I get a little tense when she says that. “So magical creatures can come.” I said feeling slightly on edge when I think back on my memories.
