EmberI smiled softly at him. I was one lucky girl...."I'll tell you more later." I said in our tongue pulling my eyes away from John.
Charlie
I cupped her face between my large hands gently and kissed her back. "I love you too...little sprite." I said smiling softly at her. "Let's get some food in you waif." I teased her leading her to the counter seening John blushing. I hid a smirk happy he was finally behaving like an actual person around other people now. I was proud I'm pretty sure my chest was puffed out in pride.
JohnI looked at her and just held her hand in mine. I trusted her and she was willing to stay by my side until I figured out my thing here. I sat down the table and just sat next to them and took a bite out of my food it was pretty good indeed.
“So miss rue if you don’t mind me asking. As a dark fae... I mean I couldn’t help but see you two are quite fond of one another. Rue your immortal...” I ask her and her eyes soften.
“I am immortal true.”
Charlie"John," I said shaking my head subtly. "Not the time." I told him softly sensitive subject that we haven't even worked out ourselves. My arm was draped across the the back of her chair. I noticed Ember looking at Rue her eyes soft..
Ember
"Is he your....?" I trailed off softly in elfin watching my sister. Noticing this jumped from "just a fuck" to "I love you" quickly.
RueI looked back at my sister and I gave her a warm smile. “He is, but I don’t want to make the same mistake... I’ll tell him when the time is right.” I tell her in our tongue. You see when I mate or find my true mate once it’s solidified in a ceremony my partners becomes immortal just like me. Many men have come and tried conquering my heart for that same reason... spent lots of nights heartbroken by it. But with Charles it is completely freaking different. It was something that happened instantly
“I apologize I didn’t mean to make anyone uncomfortable my friend does tell me I have no tact.” John says and I smile
CharlieI smirked at him. "My little brother is not as suave as I am." I teased John smirking as the girls had a quick conversation. Bersmiling warmlyat Rue understanding in her eyes.
JohnI give Charles a tiny glare. “I am reasonable and technical. Just women emotions and sociological points of views are sometimes hard to detect.” I defend myself as best as I could but Rue doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable by my question or reasoning.
“It’s okay, that’s just your fancy way of saying that you have a big foot in your mouth syndrome.” She teases me and I start blushing.
EmberI shook my head at them. "Your suave enough for me darling." I told him softly kissing his cheek. "Just because Charlie is secretly a woman who enjoys having flower crowns out in his hair-." Charlie squawked indignantly.. "hmmm maybe instead of a cock blocking soel I should turn him into a woman for a few days." I teased my sister.
RueI looked at my sister completely unphased when she says that she’ll turn my man to a woman for a few days. “You’ve forgotten my dear sister I never discriminate sexual attraction even by gender .” I teased her back and stuck my tongue out at her. What I had a phase.
Ember.I hummed. "Well okay then Charles do you have any objections?" I said innocently putting down my fork lacing my fingers under my chin. Charles was looking at my sister when she said she doesn't descriminate sexually. He shifted in his chair and looked at me. "what?" He said blinking owlishly.
RueI chuckled a little bit and just gently held my mans hand. “It’s okay sister maybe next time. Both our men need to get used to the idea of magic first before we start using it too much.” I tell her. John was just looking at us a little surprised at how we teased each other.
“Uh am I going to run the risk of being turned into a girl as well?” He asks and I just smile.
“Depends if you hurt my sister.” I counter.
Ember"And it depends on if you want to experiment." I said with a wink. "I was only teasing Rue. I wouldn't turn him into a woman...yet." I teased her smirking. Once we found someone we liked or our One. We became very sexual.
RueI muffled a laugh a little bit when my sister literally offers if he wants to perhaps experiment. The poor guy was blushing bright red I guess unable to reason with her statement. “Emi! The poor guy was a Virgin.” I tell her. Trying to tone her down for the guy before she eats him alive.
EmberI smiled guiltily at her. "Sorry can't help myself." I chuckled softly feeling a little guilty not a lot but I haven't had a lover in over five hundred years!
I squeezed his hand gently.
RueI looked back at Charles and noticed that he was indeed slightly nervous. I leaned in and kissed his lips softly and ate my food. “Don’t be scared love I am completely into you and your lovely member.” I whispered to him
Charlie"Well that's good to know....but it is incredibly hot to think of you being with a woman." I murmured smirking at her. I kissed her temple lightly.
Rue“Yeah I bet it would. Too bad that I’ve already fallen for you. So now I’m going to be crazily faithful to you.” I whispered to him. Smiling a little bit
CharlieThat warned my heart. I smiled softly and kissed her gently. "Just as I will be always faithful to you Rue." I said softly. I smiled at her her softly.
RueI looked at him and smiled when he kissed me and tells me that he’s going to be faithful to me. I cupped his face and lightly nipped his lips and just nuzzled my nose to him. “Good because I am going to give you my heart “.”
Charlie"You already have mind." I told her softly hugging her close to my side.
"Alright you two enough." Ember said chuckling. "Other people are in the room" she teased us.
JohnI had literally never seen Charles act like that with anyone. Sure I’ve seen him in love or so I thought. This was him giving his everything to someone else. I was always afraid he wouldn’t open up ever. I smiled contentlt before I leaned over to Em and kissed her cheek. “It’s okay love. I mean as long as they don’t bitch about us were okay.”
EmberI smiled softly and kiss d John back softly. I chuckled softly. "I know but I have to do my job as the older sister." I told him playfully keeping my voice soft.
JohnI smiled a little and just gently stroke the soft skin of her cheek before I went ahead and tucked a strand of her strawberry hair back her ear. “Besides I do want to learn to be more open with my emotions with you.” I said to her blushing a little bit when I kissed her once more.
Ember.I leaned into his touch smiling softly. Blushing lightly as he sweetly tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Hmmm would like that." I murmured kissing him back softly cupping his blushing cheek gently. I smiled against his lips.
JohnI mean would it be bad if I just follow her? I mean my heart says to take the chance but my brain still feels like it’s jumbled up into a mess. I don’t know what to follow except setting her free from her collar. I leaned in to her and kissed her some more. Just leaning into her touch until I hear this ringing from the main door. Someone wants in
EmberI kissed him back softly full of love and soft fluffy emotions because he was my One and he deserved happiness and the world at his finger tips.
I pulled back reluctantly from kissing him back groaning at the ringing. "Should Rue and I go back into our room?" I asked him softly

JohnI let out a sigh and just cupped her face in my hands and just leaned in to give her one more kiss. "Do go back to your rooms, Charles. Make sure that they're safe and no one goes to them." I tell him and just looked at the girls one more time before i got up and went to the door.
CharlieI nodded and ushered them gently along checking their room before I got them in there shutting the door with a reassuring smile before my face became cold and serious as I stood guard in front of the door.
JohnI walked to the door and when i open it i see the director of mutation department right in front of me. "Dr. Green, how can i help you today?" I asked him completely odd that he'd come. He gives me a warm smile.
"Dr. Snow as always it s a pleasure to meet you, we're doing the quarterly sweeping and we just wanted to ask if there's anything you need?" He asks me and i'm a little dumbfounded before i take out my notepad, and just run through all my inventory.
"Well thanks Doctor Snow." He takes out his hand i just shake it when all of a sudden there was a gun shot sound. I feel this icy sensation in my gutt when i looked down.
"By the way we're going to take over your project for today."
EmberI gasped softly putting my hand to my stomach as pain shot through me. "John." I whimpered softly as I heard Charlie shout outside and the ricochet of a gun shot.
Charles
"John!" I said hearing the gun shot. I saw guards starting to stock in fuck fuck fuck. I his the panic button on the wall next to the girls room. Locking it down tight and opening an under ground escape route as I ran to John.
RueI gasped seeing my sister whimper in pain when i was right by her side. I see Charles going out and all of a sudden the door closed behind him and an extra door opened up. I... I can't let them deal with that on their own.
"Em go!" I tell her when i used my magic to port out and into the hallway where i see John just coughing up blood.
Guards were swarming in when i used my magic and pushed the guards up.
CharlieI looked up sharply the guards suddenly shoved up against walls. I saw Rue and smirked faintly. I picked John up and grabbed our go bags and his research books. I grabbed her hand and drug her out taking a EMP grenade behind me. "Come on we have to get him some place to patch him up." I said softly. I saw ember waiting for us just beyond the fence her lips stained red but she didn't seem to be bleeding g anywhere.
RueI was ready to go into throw down mode when i feel Charles grab at my hand and pull me away. I ran right behind him. I let go of his hand so he can carry up John which didn't look so good. He's half elf he shouldn't be in this danger.
We're running across the field my sister in view. I am just sprinting towards her when gun shots ricochette and i feel an ice like pain in my chest. I look down and just feel this pain.
"Iron." I muttered falling to my knees at the edge of the fence
CharlieMy blood ran cold as I saw Rue drop. There was a scream a scream of the damned I realized it was from ember she flickered twice.
"Ember." I said clearly. "They need you. Heal now...destroy later." I said dragging the three of them deep into the cover of the forest.
Ember
My hands were shaking as I started to work muttering under my breath. I summoned the iron out of them both and reached into a small demention like pocket digging through it as Charlie stood guard. I found to vials of ambrosia. I messaged Tues throat gently getting her to swallow as I muttered healing spells her chest starting to glow showing it was working before I repeated with John. I stroked his cheeks shakily trying not to cry.
RueI was clinging onto the thread of life, not wanting to say good bye. Not now, i just found my one and only. I knew that if i just held on tight that Ember would be able to heal us. I just had to hold on. My eyes flickered open when i just feel my own heart rate start to steady. I placed my hands down on the ground and placed a force field that would protect us and camouflage us.
I looked at John and i see part of him pale but when my sister started working on him. He started growling and his body started contorting.
"He's changing." I whispered trying to regain myself somehow until i see him just completely transformed his eyes darting all over the place.
CharlieI dropped my gun and ran over to rue crushing her to my chest seeing John change was a shock but I didn't care they were both gonna be okay. I peppered Rue with kisses.
Ember
"John." I soothed softly. "John it's me...it's Em your okay." I cooed softly stroking one hand through his fur as I got the wound to close my own pain fading letting me know he was getting healed.
JohnIt's like the last time that i changed i was rabid. I couldn't place coherent thoughts. I don't know how Charles managed to tame me so well. Or i knocked out someway. I am buzzing a little when i see Em and she's trying to soothe me. I leaned into her touch and somehow just laid down on the ground.
Rue
I looked back at Charles and groaned a little in pain when he wrapped his arms around me. I was still sore but i still hold him to me. "I'm okay love." I whispered to him
Ember"That's right just lay down your safe now I've got you." I said softly combing my fingers through his fur gently. He would be a bit sore they both would it's just the effect of the iron. I kissed the top of his head gently.
Charlie
"Are you sure?" I said concerned she was shot in the fucking chest! She should not be okay she should be dead. I stroked her cheeks gently.
Rue"Well aside from the fact that it fucking hurts still." I tell him touching at my wet chest and just groaned a little when i see my sister successfully calm down her mate. I looked at mine and kissed his finger tips.
"I'll be okay I promise." I whispered to him
John
I whined a little so scared that she was hurt. I started nosing her through out the entire body. Just trying to smell if she had a blood scent that wasn't mine. I touched her and just let out a relieved sigh.
Charlie"Thank God." I muttered hugging her again gently. "I have some pain killers is it okay for you to have that or can you not?" I babbled fussing over her cause she was in pain and nearly died!
Ember
"I'm okay this is all your not mine." I said softly as he nosed me. I finished and wrapped my arms around him.. I stroked his fur gently. "You both gave me quiet the scare." I said smiling weakly.
JohnI whined when i hear her tell me that i scared her really bad back there. I licked her cheek. "I'm sorry." I said in my mind not exactly sure if she was able to hear me or not. I just... I was too trusting of them, I thought they'd never know.
Rue
I looked at him and just saw him holding me and hugging me trying to just recover from what literally just happened before his eyes. "Baby, we need to find a place to recover. Perhaps one of our sanctuary?"
EmberI let out a shaky breath. "It's okay...I was just scared I was going to loose you after just finding you." I said softly hugging him gently.
Charlie
I nodded. "Are you alright to travel?" I asked her softly.
JohnI looked at her again when she hugged me but i just leaned into her touch a little bit more. "I don't understand... you can understand me?" I asked her really interested.
Rue
I winced a little when i sat up and just gave him a smile. "I'll have enough rest until we're all safe and not under my forcefield." I tell him kind of sitting up and waving my hand and opened up a portal.
Ember"Of course darling you are speaking a Fae language." I told him softly. I ran my fingers through his fur and looked up seeing Rue open a portal. I urged him up so we could get out of here. Charlie lifted her up gently and walked through the portal with her.
"Come on we're going to a sanctuary." I said softly.
RueI looked back at my lover and just wrapped my arms around his shoulders and just let him walk me through the portal. John slides Em on his back and trots inside of the portal with her. When we portal out there was our cabin near the lake
Ember"Her room is upstairs on the right looking out at the lake." I told Charlie. He smiled faintly and nodded. "Put her in bed and make sure she stays there." I said giving my sister a look she wasn't the best bed rest patient. I stroked my fingers through John's fur.
Charlie
I chuckled and walked towards the house holding Rue bridal style. I made it up to her room and laid her on the bed gently.
RueI looked at my sister just giving her the. If you think I’m staying in the freaking bed for more than fifteen minutes you have another thing coming Woman! Alright it’s a glare but she gets the message. I’m carried away by Charles until we made it to bed.
“I swear it’s always iron, they never get my sisters allergy right.” I mumbled.
John
I huffed a little looking out at this beauty. I took three years of biology and yet this scene didn’t give justice to what I saw in books. I found myself calming down to the point that I shed my fur and transformed to my mortal skin. “This place?”
CharlesI chuckled softly. "Iron is more common knowledge allergy of Elves and Fae beings." I said smiling softly at her as I got her shirt off and got a cool rag for the burn on her chest. "Holly is not especially since she calls it by it's magickal name Bat Wing." I told her as I came back in.
Ember
I hummed nodding. "It's sanctuary. Covered in so much protection that a human could walk right up to the edge of it and suddenly forget they were heading here." I said softly. I got off his back and checked his stomach to double check everything was okay.
“A Virgin! You lucky minx he’s a natural then.” I tell her in our tongue when I see her just illuminate. Wow that’s a really sweet gesture. I looked back when I feel someone at my neck. I looked at Charles and see him taking off the collar. My heart swells and I bring him in and kissed him. “I love you.” I whispered to him.
John blushed and just nodded his head. “I... You’re welcome.”
