:( Oh well, you should read Deep when you get a chance anyway. I love that book. You can read it without having read the rest IMO. It's quite a powerful and emotional read. The H's life is dark, lonely and empty until he meets the right woman. But it's not all wine and roses before their HEA. One of Ms Fanetti's best IMO. Paula, I know we love some of the same books e.g. Fearless and Afterwards so I reckon you will love this one too.

Hope you enjoy Punk 57. That one wasn't for me. I thought I dnf'ed, but just looked and see I gave it 2.5 stars but no review. i think I did a fair bit of skimming. But others have loved it so it's worth a try.

I didn't like all of the books in the series, actually. But my favs were def Deep, and also Rooted
was also really good. I highly rec both of those.

It looks like a new series but related to the Pagano family series. Sweet as a nut! I've one-clicked that pre-order button :D

Woohoo! Friday the 13th girls! I might be in and out over the weekend - having my son's grad party on Sunday and I've been at my parents in NC for a week - - needless to say, I'm very behind on the prep work.

I didn't know this was coming out! I haven't read the Pagano family yet! have you read the Brazen bulls series? I've only read book 1

The Brazen Bulls is too violent for my lame sensibilities. Same for her Viking series, although I'm gonna give that another try one day. But I really liked Deep and Rooted, both from the Pagano family series. There is a bit of violence in Deep as well but I skipped over that bit. It's a beautiful love story with great characters. So intense. I'm looking forward to the new one!

So I finished More Than This and have lots of mixed feelings. MAJOR SPOILERS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED (view spoiler)[I really loved first half of book. I loved how Jake was her savior, loved his family, loved his friends. The part where his mom makes the room for Mikayla and leaves a spot in picture frame for a picture of her new family??? I cried....so sweet. I also love how Mikayla bonded with Jakes sister. Story started to drag in second half for me and I got very annoyed with Mikayla.
Her "I'm not ready to commit but will dry hump Jake constantly and get raging jealousy when other girls talk to him" was OTT. The misscomunications were frustrating. Don'teven get me started on her ex and the BFF. What in the actual f@$# is up with Megan being the cause for her family's murder???? Seriously??? Plot twists like that make me crazy. (hide spoiler)] Anyways...not sure what my rating will be yet. I am thinking 3 stars-ish.
