I read the book sometime after 2013 at the earliest. Possibly set in the UK. An obese man maybe named Otis is searching for a man in a yellow sweater who set off a bomb in an office, killing his daughter.
There might be several other mystery plots in the book. Something about a dead baby and a woman who kills her abusive husband? Although that may be a different book.
It's some kind of mystery--James Patterson-esque.
