You need more under werewolves.

I recommend werecat novel, Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent by Rachel Vincent. It would fit under shifters really.

I enjoyed the book and I've noticed that most people who have read her books say the series only gets better. I've only read the first book but can't wait to see if every one is right about getting better.

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia Next book Beautiful Darkness is coming out soon too.

Great book LOVED it as well.

Vampire Academy and Mortal Instruments both have threads already set up for them! :) I added Maximum Ride though.. I put it in the Other folder as I'm not sure where else to put it.

message 84: by CeJayCe (new)

CeJayCe | 41 comments I'm afraid it might be breaking a pattern since they're not really supernatural, but...The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale.

message 85: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) What are they about? And what kind of book are they? Like, historical fiction, chick-lit, mystery.. etc?

message 86: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments I've never heard of them before...

message 87: by CeJayCe (last edited Sep 09, 2010 01:56PM) (new)

CeJayCe | 41 comments They're historical fiction with a fantasy aspect. The first one is The Goose Girl (The Books of Bayern, #1) by Shannon Hale . The main character is a princess who is betrayed and almost killed by her lady-in-waiting. But of course she survives and discovers these, um, powers she has. There are four books in the series. The second one has to do with a huge war between countries. Each book focuses on a different character, but all the characters know each other.

I know that was probably the worst explanation of a series EVER, but it's the best I can do.

EDIT: I just looked back at the first page and someone else mentioned The Books of Bayern as well. :)

message 88: by Mackenzie (last edited Sep 09, 2010 02:15PM) (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh really? I never noticed. They sound like a good series though, so I'll add a thread for them!

EDIT: Would the folder "Alternative Past" work for this series?

message 89: by CeJayCe (last edited Sep 09, 2010 03:25PM) (new)

CeJayCe | 41 comments Yeah, that sounds about right.

I was also going to suggest Aprilynne Pike's "Wings" series for the Faeries section...but I don't believe there is a Faeries section. I'm not sure why I thought there was...

message 90: by Mackenzie (last edited Sep 09, 2010 04:45PM) (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) welll, we can add one.

EDIT: seems we do have a Faeries section.. it just disappeared.. :S I found it though :P

message 91: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (samanthan) The Dark Divine by Bree Despain and The Welsh Princes Trilogy by Sharon Kay Penman NEED there own topics!

message 92: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Alright, I'm on it. Where do you suggest they go..folder-wise?

message 93: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Mmk, I wasn't sure what folder to put The Dark Divine in, but it sounds as if it's got a bit of mythology in it, so I put it there. Feel free to correct me though!
And I put The Welsh Princes Trilogy in the Alternative Past folder.. not sure if that one's right either.. :S

message 94: by Mackenzie (last edited Sep 20, 2010 02:15PM) (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) I think there needs to be some type of rule for posting a book that needs its own topic. Just because I've had to research the requests I've been getting to figure out which folder to put them.

So if possible, please post your suggestion for a book that needs its own topic in this format:

Book Title:
Author's Name:
Synopsis/what it's about:
What folder they should be in:

If we don't have the folder you think the book should be placed in, that's fine. I'll add the necessary folder if need be.

Thanks!

message 95: by Andrez (new)

Andrez (andrez-ssi) maybejust one more thing

Book Title:
Author's Name:
Synopsis/what's it about:
What folder they should be in:

what do you think?

message 96: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Ah.. yes, that's an excellent idea.. i'll fix my post.

message 97: by Andrez (new)

Andrez (andrez-ssi) cool thanks ;P
