Seriously Serial '18

Is it okay if I simply mark books at the bottom that I read that are duplicate numbers so I can see where I want to combine them in sums and move them into the list later? I am not really doing a lot of planning at the beginning since I'll see what comes up in my regular reading. I have some planned for the last few numbers, though.

A new question; what about a book that is part of 2 series; may I choose either number? Both numbers?

The book I have in mind is both #15 in the Discworld series and #2 in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch series.

The series are listed here:

They are all listed in the area that can be edited by Librarians, but only the main series shows at the top with the title; the other series shows lower down on the main book page Men at Arms

So, can I use a #10 as 10 when adding such as 10 + 3 =13 as well? I know I could add the digits and make it a 1, but I have read a 1 already that the publisher hasn't yet named and I have a different #1 waiting here.

I'm reading a book #29.5. Now I know that we can add together the 29 to make it 11 but would this book just be 11 or would it be 11.5? Do we add the .5 in this instance?
