Charu summer reading challenge

I was super excited to join this challenge since I read about it but was not sure if I will be upto it as i am first time mom of 3 month old...
After much consideration I have decided to join tje challenge but with a twist. I will try to read book which fits in more then one task.
For now I have decided to join beginners challenge later if time permits then will upgrade it to expert level...

Finished reading The Diary of a Young Girl and Go Set a Watchman
Loved the first one... Second one was just ok.. was not expecting such book after To Kill a Mockingbird which was an amazing book....

Planning to read hobbit next.

Next stop In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex again a audio book...
As I go in this challenge I am finding myself to change the books. This challange has made me find new books and also read books that were on my reading list for so long.

Finished In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex
This book was recommended to me by brother. But this challange has made me read this so soon otherwise I would have read it much later in the year....
This book was very good non fiction I have read in years.... And now because of this book Moby-Dick or, The Whale has been added to my TBR list.
Will recommend it to everyone

Currently reading All the Pretty Horses and listening to Shadow and Bone.
Still I m way behind.... And last week I will be too busy to read anything... As in india we will be celebrating rakhi and all my sister in law and their children's will be arriving here.
So there is little chance that I will be able to finish this challange on time....

Finished Shadow and Bone. Loved it...
All the Pretty Horses. This book was totally not for me... But atleast I tried...

I was not able to finish this challenge but am happy that I have participated.
Due to this challenge I have discovered and read books which I would not have read otherwise.
