I know what you mean, Bea... still, I think it's better to end it than just waffle along and turning into rubbish :)
It's a very 'realistic' ending too - though probably not exactly what some of us would like but... you could sort of see that's where it was heading right from the very first book. Harris did say she knew how she wanted it to end from the start, didn't she?
