They certainly should not be combined. On Goodreads, parts are not combined with wholes.
If they are the only part of the series which is split, then I would add them to the end of the existing series page as 2A and 2B. If many books in the series are (or will be) split, a separate series page may be in order.

Gene Wolfe's Latro serie (https://www.goodreads.com/series/4945...) is pretty straightforward in its initial numbering in English.
But in the first French edition, the publishers decided to split the second volume, Soldier of Arete (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...) in two:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
&
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...)
I was wondering if there is a rule for this. Currently, both French books are combined with the English one, which is only partially true. But instead, shouldn't they be numbered #2-1 and #2-2? If so, how can I do that?
Or should I recreate the serie as 'Latro - French Edition'?
