Since we're now a few years into this suggestion process, I thought it may be helpful for people to gain inspiration from past suggestions during the creation of this year's list. Although they are posted in the Archives, it is sometimes difficult to navigate the many pages of threads. So here are the lists for the last 3 years, if you want to gain inspiration or avoid repetition, it's totally up to you.

Disclaimer: Some of these suggestions may have been suggested in a later year, ultimately making it on to a list. I don't have the time to check every item :)
