SOLVED. Horror Trilogy With a Circus and Demon by Chris something. [s]

This is a trilogy of horror books, that I read sometime around 2003 - 2005. They are about some type of circus and a demon, who keeps coming back to the same town every year to mess with the people. I believe the author's first name is Chris, and I'm almost positive his last name is Moore. I remember going into the bookstore to look for more of his books, and always thinking how much it must suck to be an author with the same name as someone who is wildly popular (this was around the time Christopher Moore wrote Fluke, and he was gaining a lot of recognition and popularity). Wish I could add more details, but the memory is fuzzy. Thanks for the help!

Maybe Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore? It's a trilogy about a town (Pine Cove), and the first one at least is about a demon. Not sure about a circus.

Granted you said you're not quite sure about the author's name, but as far as I know Fluke was written by James Herbert.

Nope, it's not that Christopher Moore, I've read all his books, and he's humor, not horror. He does have a book called Fluke: I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings (Very funny, btw, I recommend it!).
