Yep, can't do without drums and a decent bass-line. Well I will endeavor to keep the lists coming. Might do a few 'films' lists by genre, crime, sci-fi, western etc. A tad off topic mind. Top ten porn films? : )
Only kidding, I couldn't think of ten porn titles. Can't think of any off top of me head - apart from the 'soft' stuff like the Window Cleaner titles from the 70s - but I don't expect anyone to believe that. : )

The Muppet Christmas Carol is superb. It might be the only one of Martin's choices that would get into my top 50 (although I think Rear Window might also make it)I'm not a huge film buff, and there are loads of films from the 40s, 50s and 60s that I still haven't got around to watching, so this would be a provisional list:

Philip K Dick, of course, (singling out one work is a problem) but as I said the list could go on... and on... Maybe I should do another list of authors who've written several favourites but then, I don't want to monopolise the entire thread!
