Goran | 181 comments Interesting situation, it is 1 book in original:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

But translated in Serbian in 2 books.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

How to combine that?

Ole (olechh) | 1 comments Please combine
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

with this one
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

as the first one is just a german edition of the other one.

I added it yesterday as a new book by mistake. I thought that this would be combined automatically and I didn't see the "Add new Edition" link. Also I wasn't able to combine it nor delete the version I created. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you.

These can't be combined. If it's translated into two separate volumes, they have to stay separate from the complete text edition

Done.

There is a workaround to go to the combine page for authors with a large amount of books that are very slow to load. On top of almost every combine page is "filter works by title". It limits the titles on the combine page to titles starting only with that letter.
The way it works: for example clicking x, will add ?letter=x to the URL of the combine page.

So instead of going to the combine page from a book or author page, one can copy the URL to the combine page (via right mouse click), paste it in a new tab and add ?letter=x at the end. It will filter only the titles starting with an x, which is most of the time empty and usually loads pretty quick.

One can than "filter works by keyword", which I've used for #408, as the two separate editions and the one that was combined all had the same Russian title.
If both of the editions that need to be combined start with the same letter, that letter can be added instead of x at the end of the URL.

Omaira | 44 comments Hi! Could you combine these books, please?

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... (in this one, the title is only "Ninfa rota", the other things are details of the genre and a literary award. Here is the link to the publisher website if you want to check the details: https://www.anayainfantilyjuvenil.com...)

Thank you in advance for your help!

Lais | 187 comments #413 was already done
#414 second request done. The first two links (Beowulf) I can't combine because there's a librarian's note on the first linked book saying it's an extract of the original and therefore shouldn't be combined.
