Will this work for #1 of a series? Woman of the Ashes
From the GR main page: "The first in a trilogy about the last emperor of southern Mozambique by one of Africa’s most important writers"

No, that won't work. Here's a random example of what I'm looking for:
"The Boleyn Inheritance (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels #10)
by Philippa Gregory (Goodreads Author)
3.85 · Rating details · 74,319 Ratings · 4,095 Reviews
Three Women Who Share One Fate: The Boleyn Inheritance"
There by the title of the book, in parentheses, is the series name (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels) and this book's placement in the series (#10); on the Boleyn Inheritance main page the parenthesis is also a link to a listing of all the books in the series, with links to their individual pages. That parenthesis is the listing I'm after, and this one doesn't have it.
CAri - if you have a source that says what the name of the trilogy is going to be - i can add it as a series - but i would need something from the author's website or similar
Dee wrote: "CAri - if you have a source that says what the name of the trilogy is going to be - i can add it as a series - but i would need something from the author's website or similar"Thanks, Dee! Amazon lists the series title as Sands of The Emperor
amazon.com/Woman-Ashes-Novel-Sands-Emperor/dp/037429227
I was also able to find mention of it on the Macmillan website:
https://us.macmillan.com/series/sandsoftheemperor/
If this isn't okay for the challenge no worries. I appreciate the help!

Once that goes up, it's approved. :D

July 2018 includes one of the unluckiest days on the calendar: Friday the 13th. Fridays have been considered unlucky since ancient times, and the number 13's bad-luck rep supposedly dates back to the Last Supper, which had 13 at the table - 12 of them faithful, and one a traitor.
This is a one-book task. Choose a book to fit one of these options. REQUIRED: state which option you choose when you post the task.
1. In honor of the unlucky number, read a book that is number 1, 3, or 13 in a series. Its series placement should be listed on the book's Goodreads main page.
2. Friday the 13th is now synonymous with a successful movie franchise (and one television series). To honor those films, read a book with the Goodreads main page genre Horror. The genre may be stand-alone or embedded.
3. This day isn't merely unsettling; it's produced a clinical phobia. Note the fear of Friday the 13th by reading a book with a single author whose initials can be found in the term FRIGGATRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA. Middle initials may be ignored. Letters may be used only as often as they occur in the term.
