SOLVED. College students with superpowers

Looking for a book I read in the last few years - definitely published in past 5-10. A woman married the boring choice after a friend of hers was killed and the rest dispersed. She seems to have forgotten the whole thing until a hummingbird comes to land on her finger in the mall, and deer crowd her backyard. One of her friends can control/call birds, and in college once disrupted a basketball game by calling wild turkeys into the gym. Another friend makes a church disappear. Seems like there was also something about a girl needing a kidney and one of the friends gave hers. Or possibly the main character. With this many specific details I thought it would be easy to find, but no luck so far. Most of the story took place in college, so seems like it must have been a flashback. But I’m not sure I finished the book.
