I hope it gets better for you. I really enjoyed the main character, but I can see why someone else might not feel the same way.

I've got that on my to-read list too. We'll see you soon.

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) Sorry, I had to DNF this one:

Not that it was terrible. It wasn't. It was just boring and predictable and relentlessly mediocre. Oh well; that's one less series I need to follow.

jennsquared | 48 comments this book looks very interesting, but I have not started yet. my audio queue got 6 books all at the same time from the library so I'm trying to get through some of those before I get another book! I'll come back tho!!!!

Don't you hate when they all hit at once? In my library's system, I can suspend (freeze) my book holds, so when I get to the first in line, I don't have to take the book right away. When I unfreeze it, I'm first in line for the next book that's returned. But the electronic files come when they come, and you get them for 7 days, no renewals.

This was a one-day read for me, if that helps.

aPriL does feral sometimes (cheshirescratch) | 1296 comments I am liking the novel and the psychologist. The reading is easy and fast - I suspect (bad pun) I could finish this in two days if there are no interruptions. Joe appears to work under the philosophy of 'expect the worst but hope for the best.' I am reading the novel rather than listening.

I'm glad you liked it!

Skye | 2105 comments I am still reading, but coming close to the end of the book, and it truly does pick up! It has become convoluted and very interesting. I feel so badly for Joe! He is certainly in a pickle, to be certain.
