I never set out to write historical fiction, but THE LAST SUPPERS is the start of more to come. My next book, FORGIVENESS ROAD, comes out in March 2019. It’s set in 1960s/1970s Mississippi. I’ve set three of my novels in the deep south: Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. I'm not from there but Southern voices speak to me. My dear friends Katrina, Wendi, Jane and Annelle served as inspiration. They’ve adopted me as a Southern sister and daughter even though I don’t “tawk right.”
