Hi. I have had a problem with someone adding my name to some work I haven't done. I have previously had it removed by a goodreads librarian and its come back. I have contacted the content creator and she has failed to remove me.

#280 I can see from the log that she tried to remove you, but only librarians can move the author to the correct profile. If it happens again (probably imported by the bots) please post again rather than approaching the author.

Author pages are heavily cached. I checked and its gone now. You could tell that it was in the process of being moved as it no longer had the Goodreads Author after the name.

It might take some time for the changes to appear everywhere. Give it a day or so.

As to avoiding the travel guides, you have 2 options, continue as is, and we remove them, very easy for us, takes seconds. Scenario #2, you contact support and get them to move you from the default profile (at the moment the travel guide Erin is the 2 space profile, so make sure that they don't give you that one, if you go that way), and everytime you publish a book, ask a librarian to move it to your new profile. Also easy for us and only takes seconds.

In fact it is the same manoeuvre just in reverse.

So its up to you which way you want to go.

This book is on someone else's author page. There is a duplicate of this book on my author page (which is correct). Can someone either delete this duplicate book, or fold it in as another edition of the book on my author page? (It does look like this one is kindle, whereas my author page has hardcover.)
