Un recueil d'articles sur l'afro-futurisme et le concept d'Astro-Blackness qui abordent plusieurs textes, illustrations, musiques et autres médias.

Definitely had some provocative chapters, but this was inconsistent throughout the anthology which made getting through it a bit of a chore. Also, it's definitely a product of its time: it was published in 2016 and reflects the anxieties up to then (naturally). There are some good essays in here and the topic is on fire, but the level of writing is inconsistent, too many authors waste a lot of time laboriously introducing their own (largely similar) definitions of Afrofuturism, the editing is downright sloppy, and the index is maddeningly incomplete – even to the point of uselessness.

I thought this was going to be more of an intro book rather than a collection of articles, but the content is still great! Just maybe not a book for someone looking for a more casual read.
