Project: [The Many Failures of Evil], Snow White retelling, Treehouse of Writers
Current word/page count: 3000-ish

This was (supposed to be :P) my main April Camp Nano project; ended up getting it completely outlined, and made character sheets for all the main charries.
Working on hammering out scenes, and am on Chapter 4.
Most of them begin coherently, with a vague echo of the voice I want to write it in, then devolve into things like this:

He accidentally pricked her head with the last one.
She fell over, dead.
Yeah, Rush was upset.
...
Whee. Fun fun happy murders.

I’ve been having a hard time maintaining voice on all of my projects lately. It’s like my brain starts out excited, then way before I want to quit it flips to “get to the next part it’s more exciting” or “BLECH motives, no want to think, just put summary and eMotIOns.”

Project: The Many Failures of Evil
Current word count: 4330

Gotta buckle down and finish this; deadline is the 22, and I’ve only written a chapter this week...still need to edit...lots of summary/not much voice in it so far...

Deadlines never seem to help me buckle down and get things done. They increase my dread as I step back and watch them zoom by like bullet trains. :P
