Bryony (bryony46) | 350 comments Hope you have a great day at Wimbledon. I remember your task last summer about you having Wimbledon tickets!

You have sharper eyes than me to spot the image on that cover, I didn’t notice it at all.

Michelle's Empty Nest (mlundy5) Can I get If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face? My Adventures in the Art and Science of Relating and Communicating by Alan Alda verified for MPG of language? Thanks!

It fits the MPG of language but the edition you have linked to has less than 275 pages - does the edition you have at least have 275 pages -if it does be sure to link to the right one when posting

I just realised this one is too short. I think Every Day is fine though!

Nicole | 1295 comments Just want to check that re-reads are allowed. I need to reread a book for a teacher book club and it's on the beautiful covers list! Thanks!

message 62: by Marie (UK) (new)

Marie (UK) (mazza1) | 3946 comments Yes as long as it fits with the normal SRC rules about re-reads which I think is that it has to have been read over 6 months ago

There is no SRC rule about re-reads - they are always allowed unless the task specifies otherwise. The only restriction is that a book can only be used once per challenge.

message 64: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 1295 comments Thank you! This is what I thought. I just know I often read past a small detail accidentally in my excitement to fit a book!!!

Mike, if you add that cover to your profile pictures, a librarian can add it to GR for your book. Imgur is not an approved source.

message 83: by Mhairi (new)

Mhairi | 348 comments Hello, I'd just like to confirm my choices for this task, especially the second book as the MPG could potentially fall off!

Option 2; a: Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison - I can't see anything other than text, but I'd prefer to confirm.

Option 2: b: Lost in Translation: A Life in a New Language MPG 'Language' is embedded at the end of the genre list as of 24/7/18.

Thanks! :)

I think both of them work

Lost Planet Airman | 177 comments Bea wrote: "... a librarian can add it to GR for your book. Imgur is not an approved source. "

I am a librarian, who has wasted too much time trying to fix this book's record already, when not even Amazon has the correct image attached to the ISBN.
I'll work it out with Marie (UK) and the moderators, thanks, whether they trust me to tell them what my book cover looks like.

I am not sure about this Diane I missed the lines on the latter book and as it has been approved for some time others may already have used it. I am therefore not keen to take the approval off. However I am not sure that I can approve the others I am going to ask a mod to take a look for me. Thanks for your question

Diane I have spoken to Moderator and we agree because I have Agreed on LaRose that straight lines will be OK

Therefore both of yours will be ok

ETA you will have to be careful with the Audio and the page requirements as i cannot find a physical copy with the same cover and I am not sure how you go about claiming a cover and page numbers from different books
