It's almost like Roth couldn't decide on an ending so she gave all the ones she wanted to. I wasn't a huge fan of this duology. There was a lot of build up for nothing really happening. I expected a big showdown but got a tiny fight. Interesting concept but parts fell flat. (hide spoiler)]

If Cyra isn't really a Noavek, then who is she? I guess her brother could have been messing with her, but I'm leaning towards he was telling the truth. It sucks that Cyra is most likely going to have to kill her father... I mean, he deserves to die, but it sucks she has to be the one to do it. I really like Teka, she's great. Well... guess Ryzek won't be an issue anymore? I have a bad feeling he stored himself in Eijeh or something, so he isn't truly gone. I'm still not a fan of the Chancellor... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Wow Eijeh is still so brain washed, it's pretty sad actually. I do like Cisi, and I hope she is able to keep a handle on the Chancellor. I'm not sure how I feel about Ast... he seems interesting, but I don't truly trust him yet. I definitely don't like the Assembly Leader, he's clearly an asshat (pardon my language lol). WOW... the Chancellor aka Isae blamed Ryzek's assassination on Cyra... I really feel bad for Cyra and how she has to endure such pain because of her current gift. Ogra seems interesting, definitely a unique planet... definitely wouldn't want to live/visit there myself lol. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I honestly feel horrible for Cyra, I mean, she didn't ask to be a member of the Noavik family. She was basically a prisoner herself, being used and forced to do bad things by her own family. She lived a horrible life and yet everyone wants to attack her and blame her for all the horrible things she was forced to do and all the horrible things her family did. Well... I guess war is coming. Uh oh... Wow.. Ast and Isae aka the Chancellor are literally talking about the Shotet people like they are all monsters, talking about them like their lives don't matter... wow. I'm starting to think Isae isn't any better a ruler than Ryzek was. I can't believe they are going to destroy the Shotet's "Church" (I mean the Sojourner is everything to them, it's like their Church/ religion). I do think Cisi and Isae's relationship is cute though .. even though I don't like Isae. Ohhh I am really loving Zenka!! Oh cr*p Lazmet is back and he is clearly going to be a problem. I feel so bad for Cyra... (I know, I always say that!) all she truly wants is to be wanted by someone, truly wanted and the one person she loves can't even say he truly wants her. (view spoiler)[ Seriously love Zenka, she may be a Shotet outcast, but she still loves being Shotet... It seems like Eijeh is getting better, maybe... I don't know, he could be fooling everyone to get their guards down. Wow... Isae really destroyed the Sojourner.. that's heartbreaking for the Shotet. That was super cruel. It's even more heartbreaking cause Cyra didn't think they'd ever attack the Sojourner and thought her people would be safest there. Now, she's going to blame herself for all those casualties. Yeah okay.... Isae deserves comfort for being a psycho lol nope.. not here for it. (hide spoiler)]

I wonder what the Ogran Oracle wants.... That's pretty cool that Cyra was able to use her current gift to protect instead of hurt. That was pretty crazy what the Ogran Oracle had to say to Cisi, I knew Ast was bad news! I have a bad feeling he may be the one to make Cisi fall to a blade. I wonder if Akos is going to claim his bloodline now and try to take the throne from Lazmet. Also... Sifa is a terrible person regardless of what she thought she was doing. I mean handing her daughter over to monsters?! Wow! Of course Lazmet is going after a hospital and being a monster. Sifa is freaking ridiculous, Cyra deserves to know why she was traded away. Is he truly willing to become a monster to get close to Lazmet? He's really willing to watch Cyra die, knowing full well he could have saved her? I'm kind of happy Cisi is still alive, and glad that Ast is going to be arrested. I'm kind of hoping that Akos dies.. he's cruel and stupid. Hopefully Cyra and her gang can save as many people as they can before Isae attacks (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Wow.. Akos is getting a lot of innocent people hurt and killed to get his goal accomplished. Well, I am glad that Lazmet is dead and Akos had succeeded.. but I was kind of hoping Akos would die in the process of doing it. Oh my gosh! I am so proud of Cyra and so happy for her that she is finally understanding her current gift and able to use it not to harm but to protect and save. I am also pretty teary eyed that Sifa and Yma and Teka are all helping her and being there for her while she suffers for them all. I feel bad for Cyra.. I was happy she wasn't in pain anymore when it looked like she'd lost her current gift, but I am happy she has them back. Not sure how I feel about Cyra and Akos ending up back together... Still not his biggest fan. I generally liked the ending.. let us know that there was still a lot of fighting to come and uncertainty but eventually maybe a little happiness and hope too.
