I haven't read any of your series, but I have read other books by Donna Andrews, so I'm picking her Meg Langslow series for you.

For the sake of picking, I choose Anna Pigeon. I hope you enjoy them."
Thank you! I enjoy both series but this will actually get 2 real books read and off my shelf.

Thank you, Helen! I enjoyed book #1 in the series. I'm looking forward to continuing it!
Helen, so sorry to be late on this . . . my internet has been out since Friday night (UGH!). Anyway, loved your choices, but ultimately I narrowed it down to Mary Daheim and the Bed and Breakfast series. Hope its the one you wanted most.

Not to worry about the lateness, I haven't had internet since Friday night so couldn't have found out any sooner. Happy birthday to your husband and best to you both.
Hi, Anna Catherina! I'm happy to be picking for you again. And I've been curious about Ngaio Marsh's Roderick Alleyn. Sadly, my libraries don't seem to have ebooks of hers. (And I haven't been in to look on the shelves lately.) So I'm picking them for you and hoping you'll let me know how you like them. Happy reading!

Hi Meg,it's me again :D
I choose Juliet Blackwells Haunted Home Restoration series for you. I'm not familiar with any of your series but this one sounds really good. I have to add it to my TBR, let me know how you like it!
Thank you, Sharon!I'm happy to start Ngaio Marshs books, I want to read them for a while. Unfortunatly my libraries hasn't got any of her books, but last year during my holidays in England I found some cheap paperbacks.

Thanks Misty. I really love her writing. It might not have up to date wits or humour but it's like good old traditional chocolate chip cookies.
If you like Agatha Christie or other traditional mysteries, you'll enjoy her books as well!

thanks, Meg
they look interesting and different than other cozy series
One down today:
. A couple of famous cameos in this one and i'm waiting till the afterward to see if one of them is historically possible. Good story though.
Finished my first book yesterday - Blind Descent. Always fun reading these, love the national parks settings.
Linda wrote: "Finished my first book yesterday - Blind Descent. Always fun reading these, love the national parks settings."I really like this series, too. Although, I'm not as far along as you are. I've only read the first three. Hoping to catch up soon, though! ;-)
Finished my first book of the month, A Mind to Murder by P.D. James. This is the 2nd book of the 'Adam Dalgliesh' series. Honestly, I didn't find the mystery / solving part as tight as the other P.D. James' books I read but still interesting reading. Looking forward to the next one!
I finished my two books for the month - Bookman Dead Style and Comic Sans Murder by Paige Shelton. Both were good, quick reads, although I enjoyed Bookman Dead Style at bit more. This completes not only my books for the month, but also the series (which is only 3 books). I hope the author decides to continue with it.

I would hope the author would continue with the series. I found the subject of typewriters and restoring old books to be fascinating.
Finished both of my June books - the Mainely Needlepoint series. I've enjoyed the change from Southern mysteries, which I have somehow chosen a steady diet of recently.

Have finished my first one,
Dead Bolt by Juliet Blackwell. A very good second in the series. I'm always fascinated by the historical details of the homes she renovates. And it goes without saying that I love the San Francisco Bay Area setting.
I don't think I can finish my second book in June... it's on loan by someone else from my library and while I haven't noticed, two more people reserved it.. :( oh well, but I'll definitely continue P.D. James' book, her books are so cozy!

Partway into my first book of the month. Enjoying it so far. Hopefully, I can finish it along with my second book and the second one from November of last year and last month's book 2 as well this month. At least that is the plan.A couple of generations ago, one side of our family ran, The Waffle Kitchen in Lake Chautaquua, NY. The Pancake House Mystery series seems to be an ideal fit.
I'm on my 2nd book in the Cackelberry series by Laura Childs. I'm going to sit out July's challenge because i want to finish this series without reading other books in between. I'll join you guys again in August.

Just finished my first book of the month and loved it. I’ll definitely keep up with this series. So glad it has plenty of books to keep me busy for a while.
Finished
last night. Had been thinking about reading ahead but have other challenges to finish—and then this series got picked for me for next month so I have an excuse to keep reading!
Finished my second book, Liberty Falling last night. Love getting to visit different national parks in this series and get an inside look.

Finished my second book. I enjoyed the first 2 books of this series.I have book 3 on my Nook. I will hopefuly pair it with book 4 when it comes out for a future challenge.
Finished my first book for this month this morning -- Murder With Puffins. Cute. Starting the next one this afternoon. ;-)
This time I am terribly late. :( But good news I finished the two books - The Chocolate Cat Caper and The Chocolate Bear Burglary. I enjoyed the books immensely.
Finished my second book for June: Revenge of the Wrought-Iron Flamingos. It was very cute. I'm looking forward to carrying on with the rest of the series.
