Finished Ch. 5

OMG I have already forgotten characters and things that happened from book 1. LOL

I had to go back and read my review and I said, "The ending. Oh my God the ending!" LOL Okay how did it end? LOL

Ben was definitely (view spoiler)[ the boy that Kyla couldn't live without. She helped him to take the Levo (?) off and that ended up potentially killing him, but I think she said she'd find him. Right? (hide spoiler)]

I couldn't believe that the Lorders (view spoiler)[ burned down Ben's home with his parents in it! OMG! That's awful. And supposedly Ben is dead but I refuse to believe that! (hide spoiler)]

One thing that surprised me is when (view spoiler)[ Tori showed up and she lost her Levo. How did that happen? I'm not sure I trust her but I'm not sure why. (hide spoiler)]

There's something off about the way he is, like he's got some strange emotional hold over her. Brainwashing!!! I also don't think he's actually helping liberate people. This guy has his own agenda and he's very manipulative. (hide spoiler)]

Lots of questions to be answered! It's so easy to get sucked into these books, even when you're not getting enough answers.

Slating (view spoiler)[ I think it might be to see if they can control people. If they can weed out the "undesirables" It feels very.....ugly and awful. But I can even see now - our jails are getting over loaded in the US AND our juveniles are (more often than not) being tried as adults and helping fill our jails. The thought of trying to give them a second chance is appealing even if the means are horrifying to me.....I could see the appeal for society to try to "solve" the problem by "saving" these kids (hide spoiler)]

Tori and Cam (view spoiler)[ have also been suspect to me. Cam was suddenly there and then Tori was too. Cam asking Kyla about Ben was a bit off-putting. I think he was trying to get info on her because he played like it's okay for her to talk to him cuz he won't say anything, but I just don't believe him. I'm not sure what Tori's part in all this is, but I think she might be like a plant since Kyla already knew her and has that connection of Ben. (hide spoiler)]

Haha! I know what you mean! I have been wondering about (view spoiler)[Ben too. If his Levo was taken off but he didn't really die, I'm not so sure they'd slate him again. I'm afraid if they do anything it'll be even worse than slating. I still refuse to give up on their HEA. (hide spoiler)]

Amy is definitely (view spoiler)[questionable now. It's hard to know who is good and bad at this point, like you said, Trisha. BUT I love Amy so I'm rooting for her. It's possible that Amy and Jazz are always off alone on walks for another reason that lover's lane. (hide spoiler)]

Finished Ch. 25 and OMG!

I love this book and the series, but right now I am totally confused!

First, I can't figure out if Nico is to be trusted or not. Obviously I still have my doubts, especially after he (view spoiler)[ was so evil as to make Tori think she had to kill her brother. NOT cool at all! How can a "GOOD" guy do that?? (hide spoiler)]

Second, I have no idea if (view spoiler)[Jazz, Amy, or Mum can be trusted. I keep going back to Amy because she was that "too-good-to-be-true" sister. And you know what they say about that! So she's definitely suspect, especially after her snooping and seeing Kyla's drawings; however, I don't want to think it's her. Nor do I want it to be Mum, since that's her mother! Of the three, if it's one of them, I'd rather it be Jazz. I just have no real idea. LOL(view spoiler)[

For some reason I am starting to trust Cam...but after (view spoiler)[ Agent Parker took a beating and it was a set up I am not too quick to trust. (OMG...was that in this series? Nico (view spoiler)[ I agree but it seems like 90% of Nico is head games. He pulls you close and then throws you out and then pulls you close. but I can't figure out why everyone is all doe eyes at him....
and it was Holly who he tortured/punished- a new kid. and I can't quite tell if Nico is inappropriate with the girls or not...why this jealousy.
I'm also worried about Nico's ability to completely compel Kyla to do something - remember when she felt like she had to draw the pictures like she didn't have a choice?! that is just odd (hide spoiler)]
