- The top of page 496 is a duplicate of page 474. This means the "real" top of 496 is missing from the collection.
- Pages 11 and 12 of issue 9 (pages 337 and 338 of the Omnibus) are in the wrong order.
- Page 540, the half page 12 has been shifted under the half page 13. Isn't clear if these are out of order or overlapping imagery.

Reprint: There is a reprint due Nov 2020, early reports are that they were done with a different printer, resulting in a square spine, tight binding and thinner pages, but the printing errors were corrected. The ribbon on the new printing is all black.

I suspect that they are just trying to keep up with the demand of putting these collections out. All of the publishers seemed to have increased their output. It's just putting a stress on the editor/quality control as well as the printer. You brought up a good question about whether it is the Publisher or the Printer.

Excellent idea for a thread. Could I suggest you include how to differentiate between corrected & original editions. For instance:

I think it'd also be helpful to point out when there's no distinguishing features between the two editions like you did with the JLI, or if its unknown whether or not there are differences. I know theres no way of telling with Fourth World other than opening the book.

Of note, I've seen some readers comment about their Carnage omnibus and state their edition did not have the errors other readers provided pictures of. If that is the case, for this book it sounds like a printer error rather than the publisher sending a file for printing with the errors.

I don't know if this counts as a printing error but apparently some of the Miles Morales Omnibus prints have severe binding issues where the pages detaches from the binding itself:

Seems like there is some printing error with a few copies of New Teen Titans Omnibus vol 1 (new printing). It is a physical error with pages being printed wrong so it seems to have been a faulty small batch of books being produced while the rest should be fine.

While researching that one, I didn't see any mention of it being corrected. I'm certain there was never a recall/exchange, but with subsequent printings you just never know if they fixed stuff like that.

That's why I hesitate to put ISBN numbers unless I know for sure it has/does not have the problem.

Hopefully someone that has purchased it recently can help you out.

Other people states they do not have the same issue so it could be a printing error on a small batch. I have not received my copy yet so I can not check.

Update: I have now received my copy and no duplicate pages in that. But yes, the cover is a bit off-kilter. No big deal as it is only obvious when it is standing in a bookshelf and you see the book's spine.

There has been a report that the Silver Surfer Omnibus have pages out of order. Pages 11 and 12 of issue 9 (pages 337 and 338 of the Omnibus) seems to be in the wrong order.

Yes the first print is fine. I confirmed that my new (non-DM variant) copy has the issue. That thread also says there another error on page 540, but it looks like two half pages were simply combined into a single page. I don't have any other copies for comparison though.

I can confirm a third error within the SS omnibus reprint. Photos are in the same tapatalk thread you have linked already. This one is an entire page missing, which is more egregious than the swapping of panels. #feelsbadman

Updated with the new info. Half a page missing is a little more serious than the other two errors. As mentioned in the thread, I don't know of Marvel ever doing any type of return/correction for books. Now, I'm a little glad I still have the MMWs.

Two reports of error printing in Marvel Masterworks Marvel Two-in-One vol 5. Seems like pages 247, 250, 251, 254, 271, 274, 275 and 278 are printed with another page printed on top of them. No information on what edition (regular or direct market) it is.

Great. I've been thinking about no longer collecting these, hoping for an omnibus. These things wouldn't bother me so much if Marvel did some type of exchange program, instead of screwing all the customers who bought them.

Report of a big error in Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol 4. It is a printing error so it doesn't effect every book so you have to check yourself.

Starting at the end of issue 183, Peter vs the Juggernaut when all of a sudden the book recycles pages from issue 178 all the way into 179 bleeding into issue 184 causing the cover to miss.
